WHAT TO EXPECT
A DAY OF CLEANTECH DISCOVERY
Fishermans Bend
a global benchmark in urban renewal
Made up of five precincts, Fishermans Bend is Australia’s largest urban renewal area covering 485 hectares. With a mixture of industrial and commercial zoning the hub is developing to be a mix of advanced manufacturing, engineering and design, creative industries, and professional services firms and institutions.
The renewal is expected to be a global benchmark in urban residential and commercial development, incorporating innovative and state of the art technology, design and infrastructure. The area will see major transformation in transport and community infrastructure, open space and the environment. It will incorporate water sensitive urban design and will be Australia’s largest Green Star Community.
By 2050, Fishermans Bend is expected to support 80,000 jobs, 20,000 students and a population growing to 80,000.
With easy access to Melbourne and Geelong, great connections to world-class transport and logistics including Melbourne Airport and the Port of Melbourne, the precinct will be Australia’s premier location for innovation, entrepreneurship and design excellence.
It will be a place of choice for world leading and globally significant organisations and should be considered your next investment.
